Tamang Heritage Trail Trekking: Trekking Holidays in Nepal

Tamang Heritage trekking is a trekking route in the Himalaya in Langtang region. During the Tamang Heritage trek you will discover traditional Tamang villages, unspoiled nature and local monasteries, green grazing land and mountain views with the insight into the unique Tamang culture. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu airport, Transfer into the Hotel. At hotel our officer gives you orientation of the overall trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu to Shabrubeshi. 7h scenic drive. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 03: Syabrubeshi to Goljung (1960m). O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 04: Goljung to Gatlang (2240m) O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 05: Gatlang to Tatopani (2240m). O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 06: Totopani to Nagthali / Thuman (2000m). O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 07: Thuman to Rasuwagadhi (2240m). O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 08: Rasuwagadhi to Briddim (2290m). O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 09: Rest and exploring day in Briddim. O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 10: Briddim to Syabrubeshi. O/n at mountain Lodge.

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu by local bus. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Transfer to the Kathmandu international airport for your onward journey.

Langtang Valley Trekking: Trekking Holidays in Nepal

Langtang Valley Trekking, begins passing by the lower Langtang Valley, trekking through its forests and among the villages and farmlands of its people, many of who are of Tibetan origin. Once an important trading path with Tibet, this influence is reflected in the character of the villages and peoples. During part of the trek you will be walking through National Park, and though wildlife is never easy to spot in a forest setting, there are chances of seeing some interesting animals and birds. Among those found in the park are monkeys, musk deer, pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colourful danphe.

From Langtang village, the path lasts to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m). This is the site of the Yala Cheese Factory. There is a STOL airstrip at Chhaldang, a short distance east of Kyangjin. Visiting to the Yala Cheese Factory (4.633 m) and the small lakes beyond Yala are worthwhile. Yala can be reached within half a day from Kyangjin Gompa. From Kyangjin Gompa, a continuation to the pastures of Langsisa (4.084 m) provides the good views of numerous glaciers. There are some huts in Langsisa that can be reached within one day's walk from Kyangjin Gompa.

Trekking Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu airport, Transfer into the Hotel. At hotel our officer gives you orientation of the overall trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi
Wake up early in the morning. Have a breakfast at the hotel. Drive few minutes to catch up coach for Syabrubeshi with your trekking guide and porter. The coach departs at 7 o'clock. Enjoy seven our scenic drive through Trishuli Valley with villages, river and mountains. The bus stops half an hour nearby highway restaurants on the way for lunch. You will be reached at Syabrubeshi (1,420m) around 2 or 3 o'clock. Check in at mountain lodge at Syabrubeshi. The rest of the day is free. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 03: Trek from Shabrubeshi to Lama Hotel
From today after breakfast your trekking starts. You start your walking on your own pace and the trail ascends for around two hours through the forest followed by a climb of about an hour to reach Bamboo village (1,850m/6,068ft) where you'll stop for lunch. This forested path with well stabilized trails and following the upstream and can be seen birds life around the bushes. Bee hives hanging on a cliff are another attraction for the visitors. From here you will again steeply climb through the bamboo forest to reach the Lama Hotel (2560m) where you'll rest and overnight at a local teahouse. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley
Today you will have a pleasant walk and follow the trail through rhododendron and pine forest for around three hours to reach Ghoda Tabela where you will stop for lunch. This surrounding area dense wild habitat area and many small babblers with lot of herbal can be found here. After lunch you will walk another three hours on the scenic trail takes you to Langtang village (3455m) where you will relax for the evening. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 05: Trek from Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa
Today after breakfast you will leave beautiful Langtang Village and start your trek leisurely for around three to four hours to visit Kyanjing Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa is the last destination of your trekking at an altitude of 3817m from sea level. From here you will have beautiful views of Mt Ganchempo and Mt. Langtang Lirung. You will visit surrounding area like Yak cheese Factory, Kyanjin Monastery and local houses. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 06: Explore around Kyanjin Gompa and climb to Tsego Ri
Today you will explore around natural beauties of Kyanjin Gompa. In the morning if you are interested your guide take you to climb Tsego Ri (5150m). Then visit Langtang glacier and Langshisha Kharka (the beautiful yak pasture land). You back to the same mountain lodge at Kyanjin for a rest. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 07: Trek back from Kyanjin Gompa to Ghoda Tabela
This morning you retrace your steps to Ghoda Tabela. The walking will be pleasant and scenic one. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 08: Trek back from Kyanjin Ghoda Tabela to Shabrubeshi
Today you walk down to Syabrubeshi via Lama Hotel and Bamboo through previous rhododendron forest and along with Bhotekoshi river. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu from Syabrubeshi through the same previous road
After breakfast catch a coach to set for Kathmandu. After reach in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel. Have a rest. In evening you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey
Today is your last day in Nepal. Our officer will come to meet you at the hotel to escort you to Kathmandu International Airport for your flight to home.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Adventure Walking Holidays in Nepal

Annapurna base Trekking is one of the moderate and classic treks in Nepal. It is one of the demanded and well-known trekking among the trekkers. Starting point of the Annapurna base camp trekking is from the phedi or Birethathi. Annapurna Base Camp is a deep glacier bounded by a ring of impressive high peaks including Mt. Himalchuli, Mt. Annapurana South, Gangapurana, Fang Annapurna Mt. Annapurna III and Mt. Fishtail known as Mt. Machhapuchhare. From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge fully 12,000 ft. deep. The trail takes you through fascinating most spectacular mountain scenery, charming settlements of diverse ethnic group’s traditional villages of Nepal’s ethnic communities of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali who will greet you very warmly. Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu airport, Transfer into the Hotel. At hotel our officer gives you orientation of the overall trip. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhra
Wake up early in the morning. Have a breakfast at the hotel. Walk to Tourist bus station with your trekking guide. Tourist bus departs for Pokhara at 7 o'clock. Enjoy seven our scenic drive. The bus stops half an hour nearby highway restaurants on the way for lunch. You will be reached at Pokhara around 2 o'clock. Check in at Pokhara hotel. The rest of the day is free. O/n at hotel in Pokhara

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Trek to Ulleri
After breakfast, take one hour drive to Nayapul. After you reach Nayapul, you will start your trekking slowly. After 20-minutes walking along the Modi stream, you will reach at Birethanti - a beautiful village that has plenty of tea shops and guest houses. Then follow the left route through the village. Your trek continue heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. You will climb slightly up to the valley of Hile (1495 meters) and Tikhedhunga (1525 meters). The trail leads steep up to Ulleri (2073 meters), a large beautiful Magar village. Ulleri is stopping point for today. O/ n at mountain lodge

Day 04: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani
After breakfast you start your walking. Today the trail leads you to the Ghorepani, one of the popular destinations of Annapurna region situated at an altitude of 2856 meters. You should gently ascend up to Banthanti (2250 meters) through Oak and rhododendron forest. Then continue trek towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2460 meters). Today you will walk approximately 5 hours. O/ n at mountain lodge

Day 05: Morning hiking to Poonhill then trek to Tadapani
Early in the morning climb up to Poon Hill (3210 meters) to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as exciting sunrise view over the Himalayas. After experiencing the great views of Himalayan panorama from Poon Hill, you descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast, continue downhill trek to Tadapani (2625meter). The trail goes a long the ridges of rhododendron and pine forest till the Tadapani. O/ n at mountain lodge.

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong
Today's trail descends to Kimrong stream through the forest of rhododendron. You then walk towards Chhomrong crossing through the Gurjung village. Chhomrong offers you close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Himchuli and the virgin peak, Fishtail (Machhapuchchhre). O/ n at mountain lodge

Day 07: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan
Today you descend to Chhomrong stream and again climb up to Dovan (2505m) crossing through silent rhododendron forest. O/ n at mountain lodge

Day 08: Trek from Dovan to Deurali
Today, we climb to Deurali (3200m) through the rhododendron and bamboo forest. The place located on the ridge of Hinko Cave and it is the trail most stretch subject to avalanche. O/ n at mountain lodge

Day 09: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
The day begins with climb to Machhapuchhre base camp (3900 meters) and then to Annapurna base camp (4131m). The area is surrounded by the mountains and is known as Annapurna Sanctuary. This place gives you an spectacular view of Himalayas including Annapurna I, Annapurna South and Barah Shikhar. Annapurana Base Camp is the final destination of your trekking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 10: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan
After visiting Annapurna Base Camp you trek back to Dovan (2505m) with exciting memory of Annapurna South and other giant Himalayan peaks. It takes around 8 hours of walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 11: Trek from Dovan to Chhomrong
Today you descend to Chhomrong village (2340m) following the previous route. Normally it takes around 5 hours of walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 12: Trek from Chhomrong to Landrung
Today you walk to Landrung Village (1940m). In the trail you still have you great views of Mt. Annapurna South and Himchuli. It is also 5 hour of walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 13: Trek from Landrung to Dhampus
After breakfast first of all you move towards Tolka, another beautiful village of Annapurna region. Then you climb steps through the forest until Deurali. Deurali gives you nice views of Pokhara valley in the south and the Annapurna range in the north. Then you will descend to Dhampus (1830m), another beautiful Gurung village. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 14: Trek from Dhampus to Phedi. Drive to Pokhara
Finally you finish your trekking after descending to Phedi. From Phedi you take half an hour drive to Pokhara. Our vehicle picks up you there. Check in hotel at the Pokhara hotel. Have a rest at the hotel. O/n at hotel in Pokhara

Day 15: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
This morning after breakfast walk to tourist bus station with trekking guide. Then set for Kathmandu. After reach in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel at Kathmandu. Have a rest. In evening you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 16: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey
Today is your the last day in Nepal. Our officer will come to meet you at your hotel for Transfer to airport to connect onward destination.

Trekking Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After arrival in Kathmandu International airport, meet our officer. He will assist you to transfer your hotel. At hotel our officer gives you orientation of the overall trip.

Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2810m). Trek to Phakding (2652m)
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2810m.) which takes approximately 45 minutes and trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640m.) which takes three hours. You transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Lukla. It is a small town with an airport. There are few tea shops, lodges, hotels and general stores. Have a tea and coffee in Lukla. One hour rest at Lukla in mountain Lodge. than You begin todays trek from Lukla following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. Then your trekking starts from Lukla. The trail contour through the Sherpa village and yak pasture land. Have a lunch in Thado Koshi (2591m) with stunning view of Kum Kangaru(6370m). You will see the painted Mani wall in Ghat (chhuthawa) village. In the late afternoon you arrive to Phakding. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m)
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m.) which takes about four and half hours.This day you trek and cross the river on high suspension bridges over the Dhudh Koshi River which is originated from Khumbu glacier. Beyond Monjo village (2800m.) is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up in order to protect and preserve this fragile mountain environment. You have lunch in Jorsale(2740m). The trail goes ahead along the Dudhakoshi river. You cross anther suspension bridge in Larja Dobhan(2830m). From here the trail moves to steep staircase through pine forest. Then ascend quite steeply to Namche and along the way, if the weather is clear, catch a first glimpse of Mt Everest in the distance. You can also enjoy the view of Mt. Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Konde-Ri and Tawache peak. You can also visit some of the village monasteries on the way of trekking to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.). O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 04: Rest in Namche Bazaar/ Excursion Namche Bazaar and Syangboche(3880m). Back to Namche Bazaar.
Rest day at Namche Bazaar (3880m.) for acclimatization and excursion around the places. During this day you can walk around Namche Bazaar .Namche is tucked away between two ridges amidst the giant peaks of the Khumbu and has an abundance of lodges, tea shops ,bank, internet, Bakery and shopping as well as a magnificent outlook. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading off towards Tyangboche. From Syangboche There is a good views from the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town Mt. Everest(8848m), Lhotse(8516m), Ama Dablam(6814m), Thamserku(6618m) and more mountains. Have a tea and coffee in Everest view hotel. The trail descends half and hour to the Khumjung village (3780m), the village of Sherpas, the worldly renowned climbers. In Khumjung village you can visit Kumjung Hillary School and Kumjung Gompa. After lunch hike back to the Namche Bazaar. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche(3867 m). 7h walking.
From Namche, we trek out of the village, today you can see very close up view of Thamserku (6618m), Also you can see Mount Everest (8848) and other mountains. On the way you can see Nepal national bird Pheasant and mountain animal called Himalayan Thar. The trail contour through the yak pasture land until Kyangjuma (3550m). From Kyangjuma the trail goes to all the way down to the Dudha Koshi. After crossing long suspension bridge then the trail ascends through the pine trees. The magnificent view of Kangtega (6783m) right side of the trail. Two and half hour walking you will arrive to Tengboche(3860m). Tengboche is famous as the name of Tengboche Monastery. This monastery is open for visit after four o’clock in the afternoon. Visiting Tengboche Monastery is a exciting part of your journey. At evening you will be able to see exciting sunset on the top of the word and other high mountains. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche(4260m).
Form Tengboche trail move down towards Deboche(3820m).After Deboche, the trail becomes very pleasant. You will feel very comfortable. Here you have chances to see Musk deer. It is very rare wild animal. After crossing iron bridge on your right side you can see the great view of Ama Dablam(6814m). May be you can enjoy taking photos of yours backup with Ama Dablam. Then the trail moves gradually up to Pangboche(4410m).Have a tea and coffee and few minute relaxation at Pangboche. Trek to Shomare (4110m).Have a Lunch here. After the lunch you walk around two hour and arrive to Dingboche Village (4410m). O/n at mountain lodge

Day 07: Rest in Dingboche. Day excursion to Chukung Village.
Rest day at Dingboche. After the breakfast with light snake and small day bag you may hike to Chhukung village. The trail follows with river all the way to Chukung village. The river is originated from glacier lake Imja .On the way you see Yak Kharka with wide grassland area. The Chukung valley is surrounding by magnificent high mountains and Glacier Lakes. From this valley you can see Island Peak (6189m), Amphulapche(5663m), Lhotse Shar(8382m) and Lhotse(8516m).Have a Lunch in Chukung Village. After lunch return to Dingboche. 7h walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche(4930 m).
This morning your trek starts form Dingboche which climb up 20m above the village. From here you can see panoramic view of Khumbu Mountains including Mt, Makalu (8463m). Tea break in Dughla(4620m). After Dughla you ascend along with pebbly and sandy trail. After half hour climb you arrive to Dughla Pass (4830m). In Dughla pass you see monuments on the memory of Everest climbers who has lost their life while climbing Mt. Everest. From here trail goes gradually up to the Lobuche (4910m). Evening sunset view of the Nuptse(7864m). 5h hour walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorkhashep(5140m)-Kalapatter(5545m). Return back to the Gorakhashep.
This morning your trek starts form Lobuche to Gorkhashep- Kalapatter Return back to the Gorakhashep.Today you might feel chilly because temperature may go down -2 to 3 degree celsius. At first you walk along the flat trial through yak pasture trail (50 minutes). Then you have to walk in glacier. The trail is rough and icy in some part. And you arrive to Gorak Shep (5140m). At this time the temperature is nearly 10 to 15 degree Celsius. You might feel fatigue. Have lunch and rest in Gorak Shep. After light lunch start to climb Kalapatthar(5550m). After nearly three hour climbing, you will reach on top of the Kalapatthar. There you get little bit strong wind. Kalapatthar is one of the prime points for the massive view of Mount Everest (8848m). Enjoy the view of Mt. Everest and other mountains. From here you also can see Everest base camp just below. After a while return back to Gorak Shep. 8 hour walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 10: Gorkha shep to EBC and down to the Lobuche(4930 m).
Today morning you start trekking towards Everest base camp (5364m). The trail is narrow and rocky so you should concentrate your mind in trail before stepping. The Everest base camp is moving up and down every year because Khumbu glacier is moving to the down. In Everest base camp you can’t spend your overnight because there is no others facilities. Only people stay at night in camp who are climbing to Mt. Everest. Spend half an hour there take photos for your memory. Then return to Gorak Shep and have a lunch. After lunch back to the Lobuche(4910m). 8h walking. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 11: Lobuche to Pangboche.7h walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 12: Pangboche to Namche Bazzar. 8h walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 13: Namche Bazzar to Phakding. 5h walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 14: Phakding to Lukla. 4h walking. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu
This morning you will be transferred to Lukla Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu . On arrival in Kathmandu you will be meet our representative at the airport and conveyed to the Hotel.The rest of your day is free in Kathmandu. In evening you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu, you will be meet our representative at the airport and conveyed to the Hotel.

Day 16: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey

Everest Panorama/view Trek: Adventure Walking Holidays in Nepal

Everest panorama Trek, although comparatively easy compared to some of other treks, takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery (3850m). This is a short trek but very scenic trek offers really superb view of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and other many snowy peaks.

We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip in the Khumbu region and trek up to Namche Bazar, Tyangboche (famous for its monastery) and into the Khumjung village, a very nice settlement of Sherpas people. This trek is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture with great mountain views, a very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal. This trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer treks into the high mountains.

Trekking Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After arrival in Kathmandu International airport, meet our officer. He will assist you to transfer your hotel. At hotel our officer gives you orientation of the overall trip.

Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2810m). Trek to Phakding (2652m)
Early morning transfer to Kathmandu airport domestic terminal to catch flight to Lukla (2810m).The flight duration is approximately 45 minutes. Have a tea and coffee in Lukla. One hour rest at Lukla in mountain Lodge. Then your trekking starts from Lukla. The trail contour through the Sherpa village and yak pasture land. Have a lunch in Thado Koshi (2591m) with stunning view of Kum Kangaru(6370m). You will see the painted Mani wall in Ghat (chhuthawa) village. In the late afternoon you arrive to Phakding. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m)
Your trekking starts after breakfast at mountain lodge. You cross long suspension bridge over the Dhudh Koshi River which is originated from Khumbu glacier. Today you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo village. You have lunch in Jorsale(2740m).The trail goes ahead along the Dudhakoshi river. You cross anther suspension bridge in Larja Dobhan(2830m). From here the trail moves to steep staircase through pine forest. After half and hour steep walking you will see Mt Everest (8848m). The trail ascends until Namche Bazaar through the alpine forest. You will be delightf to see Namche Bazaar. The Namche bazaar is getaway of the Everest base camp trekking. Enjoy staying two nights here. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 04: Rest in Namche Bazaar/ Excursion Namche Bazaar and Syangboche(3880m). Back to Namche Bazaar.
Rest day in Namche Bazaar is especially for acclimatization with altitude. During this day you can walk around Namche Bazaar. Here uou can get many facilities such as bank, internet, Bakery and shopping. After the breakfast One and half hour steep walking to Syangboche(3880m). From Syangboche you can see Mt. Everest(8848m), Lhotse(8516m), Ama Dablam(6814m), Thamserku(6618m) and more mountains. Have a tea and coffee in Everest view hotel. The trail descends half and hour to the Khumjung village (3780m), the village of Sherpas, the worldly renowned climbers. In Khumjung village you can visit Kumjung Hillary School and Kumjung Gompa. After lunch hike back to the Namche Bazaar. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 m).
Today you can see very close up view of Thamserku (6618m), Ama Dablam(6814m). Also you can see Mount Everest (8848) and other world high mountains. On the way you can see Nepal national bird Pheasant and mountain animal called Himalayan Thar. The trail contour through the yak pasture land until Kyangjuma (3550m). From Kyangjuma the trail goes to all the way down to the Dudha Koshi. After crossing long suspension bridge then the trail ascends through the pine trees. The magnificent view of Kangtega (6783m) right side of the trail. Two and half hour walking you will arrive to Tengboche(3860m). Tengboche is famous as the name of Tengboche Monastery. This monastery is open for visit after four o'clock in the afternoon. Visiting Tengboche Monastery is a exciting part of your journey. At evening you will be able to see exciting sunset on the top of the word and other high mountains. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 06: Tengboche to Namche Bazzar. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 07: Namche Bazzar to Phakding. O/n at mountain lodge.

Day 08: Phakding to Lukla. O/n at mountain lodge

Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.
You should pack up early in the morning. Then have a breakfast and hike down to Lukla airstrip. Take a flight to Kathmandu. The rest of your day is free in Kathmandu. Day 10: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey
